Grill í Nauthólsvík

Hæ Brú,

Á sunnudaginn þann 24. maí ætlum við að grilla í Nauthólsvík. Nú styttist í að starfið klárist og sumarið taki við, og því viljum við bjóða upp á gómsætar grillaðar pylsur í góða veðrinu. Við ætlum að hittast í Hinu Húsinu kl 15 og vera svo samferða að ströndinni. Ef að rignir þá erum við með eitthvað magnað varaplan, engar áhyggjur. Þetta er síðasti hittingur fyrir Vestmannaeyjar! On Sunday 24th of May we are going to have a BBQ on the Icelandic (manmade) beach, Nauthólsvík. Hot dogs, music, beach and sun ! The plan is to meet in Hitt Húsið at 3 p.m. and go together to the beach. If it rains, then we have an awesome backup plan - no worries. Það er spáð ótrúlega góðu veðri næstu daga og því vorum við að velta því fyrir okkur að kíkja út í sólina saman. Á sunnudaginn þann 17. mars verður því gleði á Austurvelli. Við ætlum hittast niðrí Hinu Húsi kl. 15 að venju og rölta saman niður eftir. Þau ykkar sem vilja geta því hitt okkur þar. Við verðum með bolta, frisbí, tónlist, teppi, ávexti og gleði. Ef að veðurhorfur versna þá flytjum við okkur bara inn með gleðina.

The weather is supposed to be amazing these next days, and because of that we were thinking of going to Austurvöllur and have fun in the sun. On Sunday, 17th of March we are going to meet in Hitt Húsið at 3 p.m. and then go to Austurvöllur. Those of you who want can meet us there. We will bring frisbee, balls, music, blankets, fruit and fun. If the weather turns bad then we will just move ourselves inside.

P.S. We are beginning to plan our trip to Vestmannaeyjar. The trip is scedualed the weekend 30-31 of March. Two days and one night! The cost will be at a minimum, but we have to know how many people are interested to go before we can decide on the cost. The more people, the cheaper it will be.

Vestmannaeyjar are small islands of the south coast of Iceland. The largest island, Heimaey, has a population of 4,036. The other islands are uninhabited. It is really beautiful and unique. A must see if you're in Iceland!

Sól og gleði á Austurvelli

Hæ Brú,

Nú er sumarið næstum því komið, og því tilvalið að njóta góða veðursins. Á sunnudaginn þann 17. maí kl 15 er planið því að skemmta okkur í sólinni, fara í fótbolta - leiki - sólabað - og spjalla á grænu grasi á Austurvöllum. Hittumst niðrí Hinu Húsi, og förum svo saman upp á Austurvöll. Við skorum á ykkur í æsispennandi fótbolta ... og kannski í smá picnic eftir á. Ef að veðrið verður slæmt þá færum við gleðina inn, og setjum upp bíó eða eitthvað slíkt.

The summer is just around the corner, and the sun is finally here. On Sunday the 17th of May at 3 p.m. we are going to have some fun in the sun, go to Austurvöll and play soccer - games - sunbathe - and chat on the green grass. Let's meet in Hitt Húsið and then stroll together to Austurvöll. We challenge you to some awesome football ... and maybe a small picnic afterwards. If the weather turns bad we'll move the fun inside and watch a movie or something like that.
