Á sunnudaginn þann 28. mars kl 19 verður páskagleði í kjallara Hins Hússins. Þar ætlum við að hefja páskaundirbúning ögn snemma. Við munum skreyta og mála egg, smakka á páskasúkkulaði, hlusta á notaleg lög og borða einhvern gómsætan eftirrétt. Það verða verðlaun fyrir flottasta eggið. Hlökkum til að sjá ykkur!
On Sunday the 28th of March at 7 p.m. there will be an easter party in the basement of Hitt Húsið. Easter is just around the corner so why not celebrate a bit early, or at least prepare. We will have eggs to paint and decorate, lovely easter-chocolate and cosy music. There will most probably be some kind of easter dessert aswell. Oooh and a prize for the best decorated egg.

Sundhöll Reykjavíkur
Hæ brú,
Á sunnudaginn þann 21. mars mun brúin bjóða ykkur í sund. Farið verður í Sundhöll Reykjavíkur. Við munum hittast niðrí Hinu Húsi kl. 16 og leggjum saman af stað upp í Sundhöll. Þessi sundlaug er eitt glæsilegasta hús Reykjavíkur og heitu pottarnir eru hreint unaðslegir. Það er ókeypis fyrir alla þá sem kom með okkur. Munið bara eftir handklæði og sundfötum. Hlökkum til að sjá ykkur.

On Sunday the 21st of March the Bridge will invite you for a swim. We will go to Sundhöll Reykjavíkur. The plan is to meet up in Hitt Húsið at 4 p.m. and walk together to the swimming pool. This pool is one of the most beautiful architectural sites in Reykjavík and the hot pots are just amazing. The admission if free for everyone that comes with our group. Just remember your towel and swimming suit. Looking forward to see you!

Hekluð skegg og kræsingar
Á sunnudaginn þann 14. mars kl 19 mun Brúin standa fyrir námskeið í hekli. Námskeiðið mun fara fram kjallara Hins Hússins. Þemað verður að hekla skegg, lítill og stór, litrík og undarleg. Þau ykkar sem kunna ekki að hekla, ekki örvænta! Við fáum til okkar kennara sem hefur einstaklega góða hæfileika á þessu sviði lista. Við verðum með garn og nokkrar nálar, en við mælum með að ef þið eigið eitthvað slíkt að koma líka með sjálf.
Þemað verður skegg en ef þið hafið aðrir hugmyndir þá eru þær líka velkomnar. Það verður boðið upp á gómsætt kvöldsnarl, kakó og kósíheit. Öllum er velkomið að kíkja við. Það er ekki nauðsynlegt að kunna neitt slíkt fyrir!

On Sunday the 14th of March at 7 p.m. the Bridge invites you to join in a seminar of crocheting. We will meet in the basement of Hitt Húsið. The theme for the night is mustaches and beards, so we will be crocheting all kinds of them, big and small, colorful and odd. Do not despair if you can't have never tried it. It is in fact easy. An instructor we come visit us and teach us the ropes. We have a lot of material and a few needles, but if you have anything at home you are more than welcome to bring it.
The theme is mustaches but if you want to make something else you are welcome to. There will be hot chocolate and tea for those who like, and some delicious snacks aswell. Everyone is welcome to drop by and try this out. Don't worry you don't have to be skilled beforehand at all!

Ljósmyndasýning - Katrín Elvarsdóttir
Á sunnudaginn þann 7. mars er planið að fara í Hafnarhúsið. Listakonan Katrín Elvarsdóttir opnaði nýverið ljósmyndasýningu þar sem ber nafnið Hvergiland. Á sunnudaginn ætlum við að hittast kl 15:30 í kjallara Hins Hússins og rölta upp í safn kl. 16:00. Þar verður listamannaspjall við Katrínu frá 15:00-16:00 fyrir þá sem hafa áhuga og þeir geta hitt okkur eftir á. Við ætlum að skoða sýninguna og kíkja síðan á kaffihús í rigningunni. Það eru allir velkomnir, aðgangur er ókeypis. Hér fyrir neðan er linkur á sýninguna.

In a text written for the exhibition Sigrún Sigurðardóttir states: „In recent years Katrín Elvarsdóttir has drawn her viewers into a world where fiction and reality are confluent. She uses the photograph as a means to create an imaginary world that springs from reality itself, thus bringing out an alien quality in surroundings normally seen as commonplace.”
