Á sunnudaginn þann 16. maí fögnum við sumrinu með lautarferð á Austurvöll. Við ætlum að hittast klukkan 16 til að ná sólinni. Þetta er síðasti hittingur vetursins, svo kveðjum við útí sumarið og sjáumst vonandi aftur næsta haust. Ef að kólnar í veðri þá kíkjum við inn, förum á íslenska barinn sem er við Austurvöll og náum okkur í heitan drykk. Vonumst til að sjá sem flesta. Gleðilegt sumar!

On Sunday the 16th of May we will celebrate the summer with a picnic on Austurvöll. We are going to meet at 4 p.m. to catch the sun in Hitt Húsið, then stroll down to Austurvöll. This is the last bridge of the winter, svo we say goodbye into the summer and hope to see you next fall. If it gets chilly then we just go inside the café, íslenski barinn and grab a warm drink. We will have all kinds of yummy snacks for the picnic, a blanket or two and wish for sun.

MOVIENIGHT
Á sunnudagskvöld þann 9. maí kl 19 verður brúin með bíósýningu. Mæting er niðrí kjallara Hins Hússins (gengið inn frá Pósthússtræti). Við færum okkur síðan upp á fyrstu hæð þar sem sýnd verður kvikmynd á stóru hvítu tjaldi - popp og kók og nammigott í boði fyrir alla sem vilja! Við hefjum myndina stundvíslega kl 19:15 og lokum kjallaranum, þannig það er ágætt að þið komið tímanlega. Ef þið verðið eitthvað sein þá getiði hringt í númerið sem verður við dyrnar. Það verða allskyns myndir í boði, ef þið eruð með sérstakar óskir þá megiði endilega koma með tilboð að myndum.

We are going to meet in the basement of Hitt Húsið (entrance from Pósthússtræti) and from there go to the first floor and show a film on a huge, white screen. The moive will start at 7:15 so be on time. We will close the basement, but if you are late you can just call the number on the door! There will be popcorn and soda and candy for everyone! We will bring a variety of films, and you are also welcome to bring your own ideas for films that you want to see.
